Ocean Wonder is an owner run service that offers boat based Ocean Wildlife Encounters. These intimate trips don't follow any set route. Instead, I'm guided by my understanding and ongoing observation of this environment, the creatures in it, and the ever changing water and weather conditions. These trips are all about finding and, where possible and legal, interacting with some of the amazing creatures that frequent the rich waters around Cape Town.

A great morning on the ocean around CapeTown with Ocean Wonder. Not only that we saw dolphins, seals and a lot of interesting birds but we also learned a lot about the life in the ocean and the habits of the animals that live here. With two teenagers on board who are not always easy to get excited we all loved it and will definitely come back for more! THANKS A LOT!!

A truly fantastic trip. Went with my wife and 2 children. 8 & 10 years old. Paul was a great skipper, very thorough and reassuring with the safety brief. His knowledge and passion for the ocean is clear. He was great with our children as he was fun and educational. The boat is a small and fast, it really feels like you are close to the ocean yet still felt incredibly safe. We started off by seeing a lot of seals. As we went further out we saw some Southern Right Whales which were fantastic! We then ventured out towards Robben Island where we came across some Humpbacks. "Whale season" does not seem to exist around cape town as they are around most of the year. Whether lucky or not we had the most amazing experience. The children said it was by far the highlight of their trip. Much better than any other tours you get pestered with at the V&A waterfront. In fact we didn't see any of those boats on the whole trip, suggesting they don't make the effort to go out where we did. Thankyou Paul for a truly amazing trip! Would highly recommend!

Superbe sortie sur le bateau de Paul, où étions 4 passagers. Paul est très attentionné et prévenant. Il est un grand passionné de la mer et transmet cette passion en donnant de nombreuses informations. Une magnifique sortie dans la baie de Cap Town où nous avons pu observer les dauphins, les phoques, les pingouins, les baleines et le poisson lune solitaire ^^ Merci Paul ;)
